Bio
dr. dawn shepherd is a professor and director of professional and public writing. She teaches courses in professional and public writing, emphasizing user/client experience. Her approach to curriculum design and teaching centers on experimentation, play, and the future of writing. She have fifteen years’ experience in higher education leadership and has held positions in program management, business development, and tech writing in the dotcom/web consulting sector.
Her scholarly background includes research in rhetoric, new media, algorithmic culture, and writing program administration. She currently working on a new project on sustainable curriculum design. She a top-notch interlocutor who is curious – and a bit quizzical – by nature. She loves asking people questions to help them meet their goals.
When she’s not interlocutoring, she enjoys listening to 90s alternative and Taylor Swift, paper crafting, and hanging out.
