Bio

Amber Warrington began her career as a high school English Language Arts teacher in San Antonio, Texas. She now works with preservice teachers in the English Teaching program and facilitates professional learning with practicing teachers as director of the Boise State Writing Project. Her research examines ways English Language Arts teachers learn through collaborative inquiry, create dialogic classrooms, and value students’ strengths and voices in curriculum, instruction and assessment. In addition to this work, Amber enjoys hiking, reading, and being with her family.
