The Department of World Languages American Sign Language Scholarship is for students with a minimum 3.0 GPA who are pursuing a minor in American Sign Language.
Arabic
Critical Language Scholarship
The CLS Program is part of a U.S. government effort to expand dramatically the number of Americans studying and mastering critical foreign languages. Students of diverse disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply. Participants are expected to continue their language study beyond the scholarship period, and later apply their critical language skills in their future professional careers.

The Department of World Languages and Literature Basque Scholarship is for students with a declared minor in Basque Studies, who plan to enroll full-time (12 UGRD, 9 GRAD), and have a 3.00 GPA.
Domingo Ansotegui/ Lynne Fereday Memorial Scholarship
The Domingo Ansotegui/ Lynne Fereday Memorial Scholarship is for students who wish to further their experiences in the Basque culture, who plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits, 9 graduate credits), and have minimum 3.0 GPA.
Frank and Winifred Ascuaga Memorial Scholarship (Boise State)
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Full-time enrollment (12 undergraduate credits, 9 graduate credits)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Preference given to Notus High School graduates

Lead with Languages Teacher Scholarship
As the inaugural initiative of the Lead with Languages Scholarship Fund, this award provides merit-based scholarships to graduating high school seniors committed to pursuing the language teaching profession in languages other than English.
The program provides recipients with an award of $1,500 per academic year. Scholarships may be renewed three times following the initial award, for a cumulative total of $6,000 per recipient.
