Kelly Arispe, associate professor of Spanish, and Amber Hoye, director of the World Languages Resource Center, recently presented a two-day professional development workshop for Idaho Secondary World Language Instructors. Attended by over 50 instructors, the workshop focused on updated Idaho State and ACTFL standards to achieve a communicative classroom. Participants became familiar with updated standards and created practical activities and assessments that can be integrated immediately for the 2018-19 school year.
The workshop was sponsored by the Department of World Languages and Concurrent Enrollment.
