Safer Sex
Healthy sexuality is important to our overall well-being! Our goal is to inform and empower you to make the sexual health decisions that are right for you, whether or not you are sexually active. As part of healthy sexuality, we each have key rights and responsibilities.
Rights and Responsibilities
You Have the Right…
You have the right to choose how- and whether or not- to express your sexuality.
You have the right to decide if you want to be sexually active, and to decide what that means for you. It is also your right to have your boundaries respected. You can change your mind and stop sexual activity at any time for any reason.
You Have the Responsibility…
You have the responsibility to respect the rights of others
You are responsible for respecting the rights of others. Communicating with your partner(s) is important to gain a shared understanding of expectations, desires, and boundaries. This includes having open conversations about contraceptives, testing for sexually transmitted infections, and sexual history.
