Send to Third Party is a new feature that enhances our WordPress environment by enabling automatic output of Gravity Forms submissions to a Google Sheet.
This automation streamlines data management and offers key benefits, including:
Simplified Access Control: Staff requiring access to form submissions can view them directly in the Google Sheet without needing Administrator privileges in WordPress.
Automated Data Recording: Submissions are instantly recorded in the Google Sheet, eliminating the need for manual exports from WordPress.
The WordPress Support Team will facilitate configuring Send to Third Party for you. We’ll configure your Google Sheet, add a script, set permissions, and adjust your Gravity Form to ‘talk’ to the Google Sheet.
Considerations and Limitations
Data Sensitivity: Send to Third Party may not be used for forms collecting private, sensitive, protected, or confidential information.
Ownership and Editing Restrictions: Changing the Google Sheet’s owner or altering its headers will disrupt the integration, requiring extensive reconfiguration.
Form Modifications: Adding or modifying fields in your Gravity Form will break the connection.
