VIP 100

Are you a first year student who is intrigued by VIP but unsure if it is right for you?

VIP100 is the course for you! This one-credit P/F course gives you the opportunity to sample three different VIP teams by attending one of their class meetings, interviewing the faculty lead and a student participant, and maybe doing a short reading or other exercise.

Explore the wonderful world of authentic scholarship and creative activity in different VIPs so that you are ready to sign up for a team the following semester!

VIP Coach Information

Dr. Bob Wood is the Acting Associate Dean of Research in the College of Health Sciences, and Professor and Director of the School of Allied Health Sciences. Wood’s research interests relate primarily to aging, physical function, and disability. In addition, he has a particular interest in the aging of the autonomic nervous system and its relationship to functional decline in late life. His research has been supported by a number of federal agencies and private foundations including the National Institute on Aging and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
