Trillitye “Trill” Paullin, PhD, is not a fan of the phrase, “This is how we’ve always done it.” During her 17 (and counting) years in the U.S. Army National Guard, she was taught that, with innovation and the ability to look at a problem from multiple angles, you’ll always find an alternative to the current solution. So, when a doctor told her that there was no way to test which allergy was causing life-threatening symptoms in her infant daughter, Paullin found a way herself.
Just a few weeks postpartum, Paullin founded Free to Feed, an online resource that provides advice, milk-sharing opportunities, and educational support for parents navigating infant food allergies.
