Hacking for Homebuilding is a statewide competition from Sept. 27-Oct. 7 made possible by Boise State’s Venture College and the College of Engineering. The two-week program is designed for aspiring entrepreneurs. In the competition, experts in the building field pose real challenges. Teams choose one of the problems to solve and refine their solutions into possible startups. Experts from the Venture College and the community act as mentors. Participants pitch their ideas, competing for more than $40,000 in cash prizes.
