Presenting a poster at the 2025 Undergraduate Research Showcase is an opportunity to share your work with the Boise State community, get feedback on your research, network with fellow researchers and build communication skills. Deadline for abstract submission: Monday, March 31, 2025
URS 2025 is free and open to the public. Bring along friends and family for a celebration of undergraduate research at Boise State.

Apply for the EURECA Graduation Cord
EURECA (Excellence in Undergraduate REsearch and Creative Activity) is a graduation cord that seeks to recognize Boise State students who have demonstrated commitment to development as a researcher or in creative work while pursuing their undergraduate degree.

Workshop on Creating Impactful Research Posters: Tuesday, March 25, 3 – 4 p.m.
Learn how to present your research effectively, from choosing the right information to layout and flow. Leave with a list of tips, tools, and resources to help you take your poster to the next level. Mark your calendar for this IN-PERSON workshop. Link to register coming soon.
Recognize a Research Faculty Mentor
The OUR Mentor of the Year Award recognizes incredible research mentors across campus who have made a positive impact on a student’s undergraduate research experience at Boise State. Mentors can be nominated by students only and will be selected by a committee from across colleges. Selected mentors will be awarded during URS 2025. Deadline to nominate: Wednesday, March 12, 2025. Nominate a student for a Lightning Presentation
Lightning Presentations at URS 2025 are 3-minute, 1-slide presentations of a student’s research or creative activity. Nominations can be made by FACULTY only, with one nomination per faculty. Note important dates below:
Faculty nominations open: Monday, January 13
Deadline for faculty nominations: Friday, February 7
Invitation emails to selected students: Wednesday, February 26
