Recognition for Undergraduate Research
The Excellence in Undergraduate REsearch and Creative Activity (EURECA) is a newly instituted graduation cord that seeks to recognize Boise State students who have demonstrated commitment to development as a researcher or in creative work while pursuing their undergraduate degree.
Students completing requirements for EURECA will be recognized at an end of semester recognition ceremony and will receive a certificate and an honor cord from the Institute for Inclusive and Transformative Scholarship (IFITS) to wear at commencement.
OUR Mentor of the Year Awards
Faculty mentorship is an integral component to an undergraduate research and creative activity experience. Do you have a faculty mentor who made a positive impact on your undergraduate research experience?
The OUR Faculty Mentor of the Year Awards recognize excellence in faculty mentorship and are awarded during the Boise State Undergraduate Research Showcase each year. Nominations open in Feb-March. Watch this page for updates on dates, nomination form and selection criteria.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Online artificial intelligence tools are increasingly being used to generate concise abstracts, striking images and even catchy titles for posters. Before you use these tools to create your poster, obtain permission from your faculty advisor and understand your department/college’s AI policies.
For posters that are submitted for Boise State research conferences (VIP Showcase and the Undergraduate Research Showcase), review the IFITS statement on the use of AI.
