During this seven-week program, you will build community with other undergraduate students doing research in Idaho. We have a great line up of speakers and content to support you in your research journey.

Register for SRC by completing this SRC Google form. Calendar invitations with Zoom details will be provided to all registered participants in late May.

June 8 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. MDT	NETWORKING Network with fellow researchers and faculty.
June 15 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. MDT	ETHICAL CONDUCT OF RESEARCH An introduction to the ethical conduct of research, including history, case studies and examples from history.
June 22 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. MDT	EFFECTIVE RESEARCH POSTERS Gather together in groups to explore effective examples of poster presentations.
June 29 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. MDT	RESEARCH STORIES Hear from current graduate students about their pathways and research.
July 6 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. MDT	COMMUNICATING YOUR RESEARCH Tips for research poster presentations and how to present your research to a public audience.
July 13 9 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. MDT	WORKSHOPPING AND TALKING ABOUT YOUR POSTER Explore effective examples of poster presentations and discuss what makes a “good” research poster.

CITI Responsible Conduct Research Module

For those students required to take the CITI Responsible Conduct of Research Module, the online course is now available. Check with your mentor or program director to see if you are required to complete this course.

Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research

ICUR is a two-day virtual conference for all undergraduate researchers working on projects affiliated with an Idaho college, university, or sponsored research. This summer’s conference is set for July 19-20, 2022.

Join the Outdoor Program on a whitewater rafting trip down the Payette River. Explore Idaho while getting to know your fellow undergraduate researchers. Advanced registration is required.
