During this six-week program, you will build community with other undergraduate students doing research in Idaho. We have a great line up of speakers and content to support you in your research journey. We’ll meet on Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. MDT.

June 20 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. MDT	RESEARCH STORIES Hear from current graduate students about their pathways and research.
June 27 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. MDT	EFFECTIVE RESEARCH POSTERS Learn about different elements of a poster and how you can put them together.
July 11 9 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. MDT	COMMUNICATING YOUR RESEARCH Tips for talking about your research.
July 17 and July 18	Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research (ICUR)

Registering for SRC:

Program Registration Form: Use this form to register for SRC if you are a faculty/staff registering your summer research cohort or REU. (The form will prompt you to upload a copy of the registration template sheet with information for all your students.)

SRC Student/Individual Registration Form: Use this form to register for SRC if you are:

An undergraduate student researcher doing summer research in Idaho
Faculty, staff or graduate student who wants to stay in the loop and/or attend SRC

Calendar invitations with Zoom details will be provided to all registered participants in late May.

Outdoors with SRC

Rafting Trip with Undergraduate Researchers

Are you spending your summer in the Treasure Valley? Join the Outdoor Program on a whitewater rafting trip down the Payette River. Explore Idaho while getting to know your fellow undergraduate researchers. Advance registration is required (This trip is only open to members of the Summer Research Community).

When: Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Wednesday afternoon walks (June 5 – July 10, 2024)

Join us on Wednesdays for a stroll around Boise State campus. We will meet at the Friendship Bridge at 5 pm. No registration required.

CITI Responsible Conduct Research Module

For those students required to take the CITI Responsible Conduct of Research Module, the online CITI course is now available. Check with your mentor or program director to see if you are required to complete this course.

Idaho Conference on Undergraduate Research

ICUR is a two-day conference for all undergraduate researchers working on projects affiliated with an Idaho college, university, or sponsored research. This summer’s conference is set for July 17-18, 2024, IN-PERSON at Boise State University.
