2024 Title IX Rule “Jeopardy:
The 2024 Title IX rule requires training for Title IX “team” members on certain basic concepts. Through an engaging game of Jeopardy, this session will cover all the topics of required training for coordinators, deputies, investigators, decision-makers, appellate decision-makers, and informal resolution facilitators under the new rules.

Mandatory, Confidential, Responsible, Oh My!
The 2024 regulations include all new requirements regarding who must report information about conduct that reasonably could be sex discrimination to the Title IX coordinator. Add to that state requirements for mandatory reporting, and confusion abounds. This session will include all you need to know to identify, train, and monitor notification requirements under the new rule.

An Information Occasion: Maximizing IR Under the 2024 Rule
The 2024 Title IX rule liberalizes the use of informal resolution in some ways but tightens the reigns in others. How can your institution maximize the benefits of informal resolution, and why might it want to?

The Need for Speed: Prompt(er) Investigations Under the New Title IX
The new Title IX rule purports to allow educational institutions to conduct investigations more quickly, but is that goal achievable? Join veteran investigators to discuss the expectations for investigations under the rules and tips and tricks for how to make the most of the flexibility they offer.

Braving the Elements: Identifying, Investigating, and Analyzing Claims Under the “New” Title IX
What’s the key to a great Title IX investigation or decision? Follow the elements! This session will discuss how to identify, investigate, and analyze cases under the new Title IX in a hands-on, practical session.

Learning for Two: Pregnancy & Parenting Rules Under Title IX and Related Laws
It has always been important to respect and accommodate pregnant and parenting members of your community, but the last year has made clear that doing so is also the law. This session will address what is required, what challenges might your educational institution face, and how you can overcome them.
