Title IX and Institutional Equity
Boise State is dedicated to maintaining a campus free from discrimination and harassment. We believe that everyone has the right to pursue their education in a safe and supportive environment. Our office is committed to upholding the federal regulations outlined by Title IX, and we are responsible for processing complaints of protected-class discrimination and harassment to ensure that our campus remains a safe space for students, faculty, and staff to grow individually and develop as a community.
What is Title IX?
“No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”
