How to apply for a Film and Television Arts Scholarship:
- REQUIRED: Fill out the Boise State Scholarship Application by February 15, 2025
- REQUIRED: Submit a Film Scholarship Application Form by February 25, 2025
- Highly Recommended: Fill out the FAFSA by February 15, 2025
Please note:
- Film Scholarships do not require the FAFSA. However, you may be eligible for other Boise State scholarships that do require federal need. We highly recommend filling out the FAFSA since it can maximize your scholarship chances and award amount.
- As part of your scholarship application, you will need to upload a cover letter and one portfolio piece, which could be either a short film or a screenplay. The form will prompt you to upload these items and provide further instructions.
- Students who don’t meet the citizenship or eligible non-citizenship criteria for the FAFSA may still be eligible for need-based scholarships. Complete the Federal Student Aid Estimator and Boise State Scholarship Application. Email the Federal Student Aid Estimator results to scholarships@boisestate.edu, please be sure to include your student ID number.
