Off-Campus Proctoring

If you’re enrolled in an online course at Boise State, you may be required to have your exams proctored. A proctor is an individual who agrees to monitor an exam for a student who is unable to travel to the main Boise State campus. Students are responsible for fees related to proctored exams.

Note: The Boise State Student Code of Conduct, as well as the Proctored Test Guidelines, apply to all Boise State students regardless of location.

Off-Campus Testing Options for Students

Students are encouraged to reach out to a testing center at a local university to inquire about their proctoring services. If you have already located a suitable testing center, complete the proctor verification form and submit it directly to your instructor as early as possible. You do not need to submit additional copies of the form for each test. Just let your instructor know that you’ll be taking all your exams at the indicated testing center.
Proctor Verification Form

If you need assistance locating a testing center outside of Boise, a coordinator is available to help you locate one. Once you’ve found acceptable proctoring, complete the verification form above and send it to your instructor.
