Off-Campus Proctoring

Students are encouraged to reach out to a testing center at a local university to inquire about their proctoring services. If you have already located a suitable testing center, complete the proctor verification form and submit it directly to your instructor as early as possible. You do not need to submit additional copies of the form for each test. Just let your instructor know that you’ll be taking all your exams at the indicated testing center.

If you need assistance locating a testing center outside of Boise, a coordinator is available to help you locate one. Once you’ve found acceptable proctoring, complete the verification form above and send it to your instructor.

If your instructor has made the exam available for virtual proctoring through ProctorU, you are not required to submit the verification form to use the service. See the ProctorU page for additional information about this option.

If you’re a student in the Boise area, and you are taking an online class for another university, you can schedule an appointment to take exams at the Boise State Proctoring and Certification Services. Contact PACS to set up your exams at pacs@boisestate.edu.
