STARS reporting is a transparent, self-reporting framework for colleges and universities to measure their sustainability performance. Boise State University currently holds a Silver rating from The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE).
2021 was the first year the school submitted information to AASHE. We are currently working on gathering data and improving our scores through new programs. More detailed information can be found in the report.
In the summer of 2024, the Office of Sustainability will begin collecting data to submit a report to STARS 3.0.
