ENRICHING and FUN!  Boise State University offers a number of summer camps to keep the kids busy and learning all summer long.

We offer camps starting at age 5 through high school.

What We Offer

Summer Youth Sports

Developmentally appropriate physical activity summer sessions for children ages 5 to 14. We design these sessions to help children develop the skills needed to participate in a variety of sports and physical activities.

Summer DanceFest

Summer DanceFest* offers the highest quality training for today’s dancers during two weeks of intensive training in ballet, pointe, men’s class, pas de deux, jazz and modern. It is the place to gain technique, core, strength, versatility of style and performing experience. Training includes daily classes and rehearsals with cutting-edge choreographers culminating in two performances for dancers age 12 and older with intermediate to advanced technique.

Music Camps

The Boise State Department of Music is pleased to offer various music camps, clinics, and workshops. These interactive learning experiences offer musicians of all ages and skill levels a unique opportunity to enhance their skills, expand their knowledge and have fun while doing it!

The Cabin

3rd – 12th grade students
The Cabin’s Summer Writing Camps help kids cultivate a lifelong love of writing through fun, week-long literary adventures. Campers explore community spaces like the Idaho Botanical Garden, Birds of Prey, and The Cabin as they build tools to creatively express themselves.

eGirls

E-Girls is a free overnight program for girls currently in 9th, 10th, and 11th grade in June. Enrollment is limited to 50 girls. Workshops have been led by Society of Women Engineers professionals and college students that may include: Biomechanics of Footwear, Packaging and the Environment, Physics of Rock Climbing/Rope Walking, etc. Each year is different!

Astros Adventure

The Astro Adventurers camp is dedicated to cultivating camper’s innate curiosity about space science and exploration of the cosmos. Through hands-on activities, group challenges, and engaging presentations tailored to address Idaho State Science Standards, campers will learn how astronomy connects the everyday to everything, the commonplace to outer space. Campers will also learn about the role Idaho has played and continues to play in NASA-supported efforts to explore other worlds.
