Social Media and Events Specialist

The Student Union is looking for an imaginative content creator to join our energetic team.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high quality and engaging content to a wide range of audiences, who will help to bring our marketing campaigns to life, which inform students about all the enriching opportunities available to in the union.

The successful candidate will be a creative thinker who lives and breathes social media, who is meticulous and has impeccable communication and writing skills. They will be able to research, develop and deliver content across a range of traditional and digital platforms, including web, video and social media, which really resonates with our student audience. They will also be proactive, well organised and full of fresh ideas about how to engage with our students, staff and the University.

We are seeking a candidate who is preferably seeking a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, or Communcations and has some previous experience with content creation.

Hours per Week: 18-20

Wage: $12 per hour

Duration of Role: 9 months (Fall and Spring Semester) with the option to rejoin in the Fall.
