I Didn’t Know That: CampusGroups

You may have used the site Engage to look for clubs and events in the past, but Boise State is upgrading to CampusGroups! This new platform allows students across campus to connect with communities and clubs and get more involved in events with so many extra benefits. Keep reading to learn all about how CampusGroups will keep you organized and help you get the most out of your student life.

  • Search and join student clubs and organizations
  • Chat with students, faculty, and event coordinators
  • Find volunteer opportunities and track service hours
  • Keep track of your involvement history
  • Start and manage a club to recruit members

How to use it

  1. Go to the CampusGroups homepage and log in using your Boise State username and password.
  2. Create your profile and personalize your notification settings.
  3. Watch the new user video.
  4. Start exploring campus clubs and organizations and upcoming events.
  5. To explore and request to join a club, visit the “Groups” tab at the top of the page, click on a group you’re interested in, and click the “Join Group” button in the top right of the page and your request will be sent to the club officers.
  6. To explore and register for upcoming events click on the “Events” tab at the top of the page.
  7. Earn points and badges in the system by attending events, joining groups, and completing tasks. To view your points and badges navigate to “Home,” click on “My Activity” and select “My Points” or “My Badges”. Badges can even be added to your LinkedIn profile.
