Please join us for a FREE clinic for dental, vision, and medical services. The clinic will be held 9am – 4pm on November 3rd and 4th. The clinic will be hosted at the Euclid Church of the Nazarene, a few blocks from campus. Limited parking will be available at the church at no charge. No appointment needed; first come-first served.
Boise State will partner with Extra Mile Arena and Love Heals, a local non-profit organization that hosts clinics around the world. The free clinic will offer dental exams, X-rays, fillings, extractions, sealants, dental cleanings, oral health education and more. Dental professionals include board certified dentists, oral surgeons, hygienists, dental assistants and supervised dental students.
Additionally, there will be a vision clinic which will provide free eye exams and glasses that will be sent in the mail, and a medical portion, in which patients can talk to a doctor about medical concerns.
“Many students have limited access to health coverage, and when managing basic needs, medical care often drops to the bottom of one’s list of priorities,” said Michelle Cain, Boise State student basic needs case manager. “The university is pleased to provide a program to help individuals access much-needed care, helping to ensure their success.”
Love Heals relies on healthcare professionals who donate their time and talents to care for others. Physicians, nurses, physician assistants, dentists, oral surgeons, hygienists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, opticians and healthcare students all come together to meet the needs of patients.
Love Heals clinics are only made possible by the engagement of community volunteers and organizations.
