Scott Moscrip, founder and former CEO of Truckstop.com, and Carmen Moscrip are set to share their insights at the spring Entrepreneur Connect Speaker Series on Wednesday, March 27, at 1:30 p.m.

After earning a bachelor’s degree in physics from Oregon State University and a master’s degree in management information systems at Texas A&M University, Scott worked with the federal government for 5 years. He determined that the transportation field was ripe for cutting edge technology and left government service in Washington DC, moved to Idaho, and formed the Internet Truckstop in July 1995. Truckstop.com revolutionized the transportation industry by establishing the first online load board. Scott passed the CEO mantle to Paris Cole, in 2015.
Carmen has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Idaho State University. She has worked in the travel industry, including leading tours of Israel, Egypt and Jordan, done medical billing, and has been a sports official for volleyball and softball. After marrying Scott in 2011 she became a full-time mom and her life was filled with service opportunities and supporting and advising Scott in his businesses.
The Moscrips relocated to Orlando, Florida in 2019, where they pursue philanthropic endeavors, including the creation of the Ã…cahand Foundation. Their foundation focuses on education, emergency welfare and economic opportunity development. The Moscrips’ commitment extends globally, collaborating in Orlando, Papua New Guinea, Haiti and the Dominican Republic, sharing the wisdom gained from their Idaho roots to impact the world positively through their work.
