Boise State is full of resources at your disposal. As the semester picks up, it’s important to take care of your mental, physical and academic needs to get the support you need. You may have heard of or benefited from using some of them, but we are highlighting a few you should know about because they’re helpful for your student life. See the list of all other campus resources. These resources are here to help!
1) Health Services
You have access to health care right here on campus. From counseling to check-ups and testing to Telehealth, you’ll be taken care of. Find out more information by visiting Health Services.
2) Career Services
Be proactive about taking the next step in your career and visit Career Services. They will help you explore opportunities, build a career plan, prepare for job interviews, build your resume and more.
3) Educational Access Center
Need more support in your classes? The Educational Access Center equips students with temporary or permanent disabilities with academic accommodations, education on study habits and a calm study space.
4) Advising and Academic Support Center
Located in the SMASH building (Simplot Micron Advising and Success Hub), the Advising and Academic Support Center is an essential resource for students. It’s where you can explore possibilities with your major, meet with your academic advisor, build your semester plan and seek advice.
5)Writing Center
Have writer’s block? Need help writing a paper or professional document? The Writing Center is the place to go. In-person or online sessions are available to help students at all writing levels through each step of the writing process.
5 ½) Campus Food Pantry
The Campus Food Pantry saves students from food insecurity and provides a place for you to pick up groceries for free. Here are 5 ½ Healthy, Make-ahead Meals on a College Budget using ingredients found at the food pantry.
