So grab your facial covering and get to the library this semester. Here are just a few things for you to take advantage of:
1) They have a video production suite
Interested in starting your own show or podcast? The video production suite has many different backdrops, lighting, microphones, and the full suite of Adobe and iMovie software. Bring your ideas to life and become a YouTube star.
2) Plenty of things to make at the Maker Lab
How about a 3D representation of a project you’re working on? The Maker Lab offers coaching and access to emerging technology on things such as design printing, 3D printing, resin printing, soldering and even knitting. The lab offers coaching and even workshops on these things and more.
3) Find your textbooks and rent technology accessories
Forget to buy a book? The first floor circulation desk may have the textbook you’re needing for class. They also rent out laptops, chargers, and even cameras and photography equipment.
4) Study in peace in the silent study rooms
Need a quiet place to study? The library also has private group study rooms you can reserve online. Don’t wait until the last minute as these rooms fill up quickly during midterms and finals week. Reserve your room here.
5) Research doesn’t have to be a lonely process
Albertsons Library is filled with knowledgeable librarians that can help you find academic research and credible articles to help you with class work.
