Confidential Support Services

If you or a friend are seeking support and don’t know where to go, the Student Connections and Support Center can be a helpful place to start. We provide no-cost, confidential support services to Boise State students and are committed to providing compassionate care, with an understanding of how trauma can impact all aspects of a person’s life.

Our staff can support campus members impacted by a number of different issues, including but not limited to: 

  • Sexual assault, unwanted sexual contact
  • Unwanted sharing of personal images
  • Relationship violence by a current or former partner, or a family member
  • Stalking
  • Identity-based harassment and discrimination
  • Understanding your identities and finding supportive community
  • Academic concerns, including difficult interactions with faculty or peers

What We Offer

We offer the following: 

  • Crisis intervention and emotional support
  • Resources/referrals for counseling, medical and legal services, basic needs, employment, disabilities, and other topics
  • Safety planning to stay safe in potentially dangerous situations and reduce future harm
  • Accompaniment when meeting with police, or Title IX Assistance connecting with specialists who can facilitate a university-based no contact order or a Civil Protection Order

If you have experienced any form of relationship violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment and/or stalking, you deserve to live a life of safety. The Student Connections and Support Center provides a trauma-focused and holistic view of advocacy and support. Our support services staff are here to listen, support and provide resources that you seek.

  • cultural identities
  • abilities

We meet with students, staff and faculty members. Not a campus member? Concerned about someone you know? We can still provide resources and referrals. If you’re interested in reporting to campus officials or police, we can guide you through the process.
