Student Research

Undergraduate and graduate students partner with faculty and staff in the research process, which provides them with critical thinking and communication skills. The School of Public Service supports faculty incorporating research into courses, and encourages them to write students into their grants. At Boise State, structures like Vertically Integrated Projects allow students to receive credit and faculty to balance their workloads to integrate students in their research.

Preparing the next generation of researchers

Research doesn’t just occur in a lab, in the School of Public Service it happens everywhere. The community is our classroom, and student research is at the forefront of our experiential learning opportunities.
