Community Impact

Boise State’s metropolitan setting and close proximity to rural Idaho make it the ideal location for community-based learning. Students, faculty and staff engage with the community to learn collectively in order to address challenges that impact everyone in urban and rural settings.

Solving challenges

SPS’ mission centers around preparing problem-solvers and leaders. Since our founding over 10 years ago, we’ve focused on utilizing the community as our classroom.

“One of the most valuable things I found during my time in SPS was a support system. People are there to help you in gaining the most from your education.”
