Well-planned, participatory events and workshops are another valuable component to our experiential and career learning. Boise State’s metropolitan setting and proximity to downtown make it the logical location for a variety of conferences and lectures that students are encouraged to attend. So whether it is a School of Public Service event or an outside organization hosting at Boise State, our students are perfectly positioned to engage in a unique and meaningful way.
Community Impact
Boise State’s metropolitan setting and close proximity to rural Idaho make it the ideal location for community-based learning. Students, faculty and staff engage with the community to learn collectively in order to address challenges that impact everyone in urban and rural settings.
