Empowering students to enact change

Leading through service

Students in the School of Public Service hone their leadership skills through a blend of academic learning, practical internships, and active involvement in student organizations. In class, they gain a deep understanding of what it takes to be a leader and steps to hone those skills, while internships offer hands-on experience in real-world settings. Through student organizations, they further develop leadership by leading initiatives and advocating for causes, ensuring they are well-prepared to serve in public service roles.

Preparation through experience

Gaining experience in leadership roles makes students highly employable candidates for post-graduation positions on the career path they desire. At the School of Public Service, we aim to help you hone these skills so you can thrive after college in whatever you choose to do.

Our graduates agree

“I think that the real-life aspect of internships, clubs and organizations that you get outside of the classroom is going to be one of the most valuable experiences you can have as a student.”
