Program Student Club

The Boise Urban Community Club (BUCC) is a student association in which students meet one another, share information about internship and career opportunities, and participate in collective projects.

Campus organizations

Students have a variety of campus organizations that can help nurture and promote activities and interests associated with urban studies and community development.

Professional Organizations and Interest Groups

The Treasure Valley has several professional groups and interest groups focusing on urban studies and community development topics. These professional groups often allow students to join their organization at a reduced rate. These organizations also promote the interests of the economics community and are a good source for networking. The following are a small sample of organizations you may be interested in joining or attending one of their events:

American Planning Association, Idaho Chapter
City Club Boise
Idaho Smart Growth
Idaho, U.S. Green Building Council
Urban Land Institute, Idaho Chapter
