The Department’s policy on graduate internships is:
Students in the Political Science Master’s program have the option to earn credits through internships while in the program. These credits, POLS 590, have a few requirements attached to them. Students cannot apply more than 3 credits towards their Master’s degree. Second, the internship must be related to the area of study or the research methodology that the student is studying in the Master’s program. Third, each internship needs the approval of both the internship coordinator and the student’s advisor. Fourth, academic credit for internships can only be received by signing up for and satisfactorily completing the requirements of POLS 590.
If you have any questions about Graduate Internships, please contact Dr. Isaac Castellano.
