Participating – Students attending a 100 or 200 level Military Science class are ineligible for benefits from ROTC and are not obligated to serve in the Military. They do not attend Field Training Exercises (FTX) or weekly labs.
Enrolled – Students attending a 100 or 200 level Military Science class and who have completed the ROTC enrollment process can participate in FTX’s and labs. They do not receive benefits from ROTC and are not obligated to service in the Military.
Contracted – Students who have signed with ROTC will attend 300 and 400 level Military Science and physical fitness classes. Upon graduating, they will have a Military obligation.
