Accelerated Program

Undergraduate students seeking to obtain a Master of Environmental Management in combination with their undergraduate studies have the opportunity to participate in the 4+1 accelerated program, which allows a student to add just one more year onto their degree plan so that they graduate with both a Bachelor’s and Master of Environmental Management. Note: students who are denied admission to the accelerated master’s program will be considered for admission to the master’s program on a non-accelerated basis.

The student experience

“I’ve enjoyed being able to take graduate-level courses as an undergraduate student as a way to acclimate to what a full graduate-level course load will be like. It’s a huge plus that I will be able to get my Master’s degree in just one additional year instead of two.”

-Haley Hester, Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies and Master of Environmental Management
