This project’s intention was to gather information on workforce development. West Central Mountains Economic Development Council (WCMEDC) was most interested in the gap between high school student expectations and employer workforce needs. The Idaho Policy Institute collected secondary data and created, distributed and analyzed two surveys. The final report provided an analysis of workforce needs in the region, the plans and expectations of students, and any existing gap between the two.
