On September 4, IPI director Vanessa Fry moderated a conversation at the Downtown Boise Association’s State of Downtown address.
The annual State of Downtown convenes local leaders in business and government to provide insight on how the Boise metro area has changed over the past year. This year’s focus was Boise’s reputation for a safe and clean downtown area.
The conversation spent a lot of time addressing the needs of the local homeless population and the panel featured local organizations working on the “continuum of care”, addressing resources available for those in unstable housing situations.
