Dr. Cheong Kim, IPI Senior Research Associate, recently published an article “Local government growth from a tri-sector perspective” in The Social Science Journal. In his article Dr. Kim addresses Idaho cities, which are under-represented in the academic literature, through examination of a unique database of Idaho municipalities. Specifically, the article examines how the for-profit and nonprofit sectors impact government growth.
