The City of Boise released its Energy Future draft plan and is inviting citizens to review and provide comments online by March 26th or by attending the Boise City Council meeting on April 2nd. The plan implemented results from a citywide survey in partnership with Boise State’s Idaho Policy Institute and the Energy Policy Institute. The full draft plan can be found on the City of Boise’s Energy Future website. The draft plan was also covered by the Idaho Press in an article discussing the City of Boise’s goal to be powered entirely with renewable energy by 2040. Boise City Council will consider adopting this goal at a public hearing on April 2nd.
