Idaho Policy Institute Assistant Director, Vanessa Fry, participated in a panel discussion at the West Central Mountains Economic Summit in McCall, Idaho. The panel, focused on housing solutions, discussed strategies for addressing the housing-related challenges facing Valley County, Adams County and the communities of McCall, Donnelly, Cascade, New Meadows, and Lake Fork. The summit was attended by local entrepreneurs, developers, community leaders, part time residents, elected officials, and others interested in the economic well-being of Valley County and Meadows Valley.
The Idaho Policy Institute is currently advising Boise State graduate students in the MPA Capstone Class who are analyzing the impacts of the short-term rental market on the City of McCall.
