Our Mission

The mission of the conflict management program is to prepare students to be confident, capable and resilient leaders through the challenges in their professional and personal lives. We engage students in innovative, experiential, and supported learning environments that are founded on self-discovery, our common humanity, and critical inquiry into civil discourse and collaborative engagement across diverse groups and perspectives.

The conflict management certificate is an important addition to your degree of study because it adds the human dimension of employability. You leave Boise State with the content knowledge in your subject areas. Conflict Management students also leave Boise State with the ability to solve challenging team dynamic issues, give and receive feedback, collaborate to solve problems, and de-escalate themselves and others in high stress moments.
