Women and men alike have lauded our original Women and Leadership Conference as a life-changing experience, and would frequently comment that they wished they had something like the adult conference for their daughter or son. We want you to know we heard you, and agree that leadership skills and the desire to grow into a future leader should begin in the teen years.
2024 – March 7, 2024
The 5th Young Women and Leadership conference is scheduled for Thursday, March 7, 2024 and will be hosted at Boise State University for one day. Registration will be opening early January.

2022 – March 15, 2022
The 4th annual Young Women and Leadership conference is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15, 2022. The format will look a bit different this coming year due to the limitations created by the ongoing pandemic precautions on campus. 9th-12th grade students will hear from an inspiring keynote speaker and participate in a peer student leaders showcase. The start time will be 4pm MT and conclude at 6pm MT. We look forward to returning to the original event next year!
2021 – February 23, 2021
The 3rd annual Young Women and Leadership conference was hosted virtually on February 23, 2021. Students from 9th-12th grades heard from area role models Tai Simpson and Liyah Babayan and participated in unique skill-building workshops designed to help instill the characteristics of leadership in the youth of today – our leaders of tomorrow.
Thanks to individual donors, partnering organizations, and sponsors, we were able to offer more scholarships for students than ever before. In addition to the ability for students to participate virtually, these scholarships greatly expanded participation to 26 different schools!
2020 – March 10, 2020
Students in 9th-12th grades heard from area role models and participated in hands-on workshops designed to help instill the characteristics of leadership in the youth of today – our leaders of tomorrow.
2019 – February 15, 2019
In its inaugural journey, we have worked with an advisory committee of educators, students, civic organizations, and community leaders to build what we hope will be a lasting impact community event.
