The following scholarships are geared towards undergraduate students in the School of Public and Population Health (SPPH). You may be eligible for additional scholarships, and scholarships are subject to change, so for a comprehensive list and more information visit the Boise State scholarship website.
The Boise State scholarship application opens mid-November and most scholarship opportunities close by February 15th.
Bill Nolan Memorial Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Undergraduate
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits)
- Pursing a major in the School of Public and Population Health
Saint Alphonsus Health System/Trinity Health School of Public and Population Health Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Pursing a major in the College of Health Sciences
- Plan to enroll at least part-time (6 undergraduate credits; 5 graduate credits)
- Demonstrate financial need. We can determine your financial need by the results of your free application of federal student aid (FAFSA).
Dr. Maurice Burkholder Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Degree-seeking
- Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits, 9 graduate credits)
- Have a declared major within the College of Health Science
- Idaho resident
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Demonstrate financial need. We can determine your financial need by the results of your free application for federal student aid (FAFSA).
Mike and Louise Berlin Health Sciences Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum 3.5 GPA
- Health Science Major with a preference for non-clinically oriented programs
- Plan to enroll at least part-time (6 undergraduate credits; 5 graduate credits)
- Demonstrate financial need. We can determine your financial need by the results of your free application of federal student aid (FAFSA).
Health Promotion Major Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Full-time enrollment (12 undergraduate credits)
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Junior or Senior
- Declared major in Public Health with HEP emphasis major (or Health Ed & Promotion until 2019)
- Demonstrate financial need. We can determine your financial need by the results of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Pat Kemper Health Informatics & Information Management Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Pursing a Health Informatics and Information Management Program degree
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
Tom Turco Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Scholarship
In order to be eligible for this scholarship students must meet the following criteria:
- Junior or Senior
- Minimum 3.0 GPA
- Plan to enroll full-time (12 undergraduate credits)
- Enrolled in Environmental and Occupational Health & Safety Program
