About the DASH Lab

The Data Analytics for Statewide Health (DASH) Collaborative is an effort to create a more data-fluent public health workforce in Idaho.

Through data-immersive, team-based learning, students work with the School of Public and Population Health’s local health-promoting community partners. The DASH Lab utilizes data from these community partners to gain insights, drive action and promote positive change.

The DASH Lab looks to engage with the community as it builds a reputation of providing a much needed resource while students learn the basics of health data science and its applications to real-world data.
