Sami Cronk
Soil Conservation Assistant
Sami works as part of the Soil CoRE team to deliver outreach and training services to Qualified Individuals (QIs) to work as intermediaries between producers enrolled in climate-smart conservation practices and the USDA-NRCS, to monitor and assess land-use change effects on soil organic carbon storage.

Dave is a Soil Scientist and the Western Region Lead. Dave’s expertise is in soil water, carbon, and nutrient cycling in dryland systems. He is accountable for assuring that all project activities are carried out in a timely, cost-efficient and responsible manner. Dave advises on the creation of educational materials related to soil carbon stocks and soil health, and trains new Qualified Individuals.

Jen advises on soil carbon monitoring, outreach, and training activities for the western region, with a special focus on Idaho and western Wyoming. She also helps evaluate the effectiveness of outreach materials and training practices.
