Delegate Danica Roem from Virginia – America’s first transgender legislator, author of best-selling memoir “Burn the Page” and a nationally recognized, groundbreaking political leader will be visiting campus.
Can you spread the word and encourage students to attend. This is a great opportunity for students to meet a legislator from another state who can speak about her experience as the first openly transgender legislator in the U.S.
She has an interview on Boise State Public Radio at noon, having a book-signing event at Rediscovered Books at 4 pm and headlining a private evening event at 6 pm, but that leaves her morning free and afternoon from 1-4 pm.
