Bitterroot: The West’s Magazine, a recently launched publication that features stories by western journalists, published an article by Carissa Wolf.
Wolf is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Sociology and a journalist.
Wolf’s piece, “A Refugee Finds the Unexpected in Boise,” details the experiences of Fidel Nshombo, a refugee from the Democratic Republic of Congo who now calls Boise home.
Carissa Wolf is also a contributing writer for the Washington Post where she covers politics, social issues and the environment. She recently reported on faith healing communities in Idaho for the Post. Click link below for full article
