Clinical Assistant Professor
Scott Chyna received his MSW from Loyola University Chicago and has over 20 years of direct clinical practice and management in a variety of specialized settings ranging from inpatient/outpatient hospital-based psychiatric care, employee assistance programming, and primary medical care. Scott maintains current clinical practice as an individual psychotherapist focusing on trauma-informed care.
Scott’s program management experience includes the development and implementation of an integrated behavioral health model of care for one of the Midwest’s largest federally qualified health centers (FQHC).
Scott began teaching at Boise State as an adjunct faculty member in 2017.  Prior to his relocation to Idaho, Scott was an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of Illinois Jane Addams College of Social Work.
