The Community Engagement Academy is a two-week intensive program that offers instructors a foundational understanding of course-based community engagement practices. Participants will explore community engagement models and experiential learning principles, learn strategies for collaborating with community partners, and develop a plan to integrate meaningful community engagement into their course. This guided, asynchronous academy provides essential tools and strategies for designing an impactful experience that enhances student learning.
Dates: Begin anytime after January 13
Time Commitment: 12 hours over two weeks (self-paced)
Completion Stipend: $200 for full participation
