Stein Luminary Season Series

The School of the Arts in the College of Arts and Sciences invites proposals for the development of the 2025-2026 Season Series at the Keith and Catherine Stein Luminary. This initiative aims to foster engagement with the arts across disciplines, creating a dynamic and participatory experience for students, faculty and the broader university community.

We seek proposals that contribute to our season of exhibitions spanning the Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters, with a maximum of fourteen (14) exhibitions and/or events categorized as follows:

  • Four (4) student exhibitions and events
  • Four (4) structured class visits
  • Two (2) faculty exhibitions and events
  • Two (2) department or school exhibitions and events
  • Two (2) university exhibitions and events

Applications are submitted using the form on the Stein Luminary Season Series Application page and are due by April 15, 2025

Information and guidelines

Scope of proposals

Proposals should align with at least one of the goals and strategies from the College of Arts and Sciences strategic plan:

  • G1.S2 Integrate career education and experiential learning opportunities into the curriculum and the student experience to improve career readiness and post-graduation outcomes.
  • G1.S4 Cultivate a commitment to high-quality, new and innovative learning experiences in all courses, curricula, and co-curricula.
  • G3.S2 Develop an integrated, transdisciplinary and accessible research ecosystem dedicated to student excellence and success.
  • G5.S1 Leverage existing partnerships and programs and develop new opportunities with Idaho employers and private partnerships to address workforce, research, educational and service needs.
  • G5.S3 Create interdisciplinary structures to facilitate meaningful connections and experiences for students, faculty and staff.

Each proposal should demonstrate how it will contribute to an engaging and educational experience.
