The Student Advisory Council for the School of the Arts serves as a vital bridge between students and faculty, offering a platform where student voices shape the future of our artistic and creative community.

Composed of passionate and dedicated students from varying disciplines within the arts, the board fosters collaboration, creativity and innovation

    Creative Writing Major, Elementary Korean Certificate, Culture and History Through Film Certificate

    Abby is a Creative Writing major who is passionate about the power of storytelling, whether it’s through the written word or on screen. Her work focuses on Poetry and Creative Nonfiction, and she enjoys engaging with the creative community on campus.

    Fun fact:
    I want to swim the English Channel one day!

    Josephine Beck

    Film and Television Major, Visual Design Minor

    From hiking and skiing to playing tennis, I love the great outdoors! I also enjoy being involved in my community; currently, I serve as Hall Council President for University Suites & Square and I have an on-campus job with Student Financial Services. I’m so excited to now be a part of the Student Advisory Council!

    Fun fact:
    I grew up in St. Louis, Missouri before moving out to the Pacific Northwest when I was 12.

    Music (BA), Games, Interactive Media, and Mobile Technology (GIMM), Arts Entrepreneurship (Minor), Music Production Certificate

    Hi! I’m a 2nd year in both of my Majors, and I’m also a Drum Major (conductor) for the Blue Thunder Marching Band! If I’m not practicing or recording some fun music or programming for a game I’m working on, then you’ll probably find me in the Library or ILC listening to a good audiobook!

    I’m a Broncoshop Ambassador!

If I am not performing on the stage, I can be seen listening to music, thrifting, or talking people’s heads off.

    Beyond the council, you can find me rotating between my analytical studies in health data or practicing classical repertoires. I am also an avid traveler who loves to visit new places and explore new joints/spots/pop-ups to eat.

    I spend my days playing keyboards and doing live and studio music production. I spend my days experiencing as much as I possibly can. I also lead a local funk/fusion band called The Fjord People!

    I have been the first responder to three separate people falling down cliffs.
