Use the Scheuduling Wizard!
Using the wizard ensure that advisor shifts are utilized in scheduling and avoids double booking
Using the wizard also ensures that the appropriate appointment confirmations and reminder emails are sent to the student.

Use the Create Appointment Button from the Action Launcher!
Using the Create Appointment button does NOT look at shifts or calendar availability so unless you are verifying availability, it’s possible to double book an advisor
When using the Create Appointment button, the student will get a confirmation email and a 1 hour reminder, but will not receive the 24 hour reminder

Use Lobby Management/Drop-in!
Using the Lobby Management does NOT look at shifts or calendar availability so unless you are verifying availability, it’s possible to double book an advisor
Lobby Management does NOT send any confirmation or reminder emails to a student
Using Lobby Management precludes the option of a virtual appointment. Lobby Management is only available for In-Person scheduling
